Summertime fun!
We have been enjoying the sunshine this summer so that is cause for lack of posts but not to worry we have been having fun!
Reagan is really taking after her Daddy and loves all things that have to do with any type of sport. She had to try out this pink bat and helmet.
The pool has been our favorite activity this summer. Reagan is such a fish!
Attempting to do some baking, not such a good idea with a 2 year old. Flour went everywhere, she enjoyed licking it up and so did the dog.
We have been a little garage sale crazy! The new baby has enough clothes to last well through the first several months, for next to nothing. The tent and tunnel set up below I scored for only $10!
Having fun at the Fishers Freedom Festival
Reagan turns 2!

Happy Easter!
We had a very nice Easter weekend celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ! The weekend included a neighborhood egg hunt, lots of cooking, a wonderful service at church, a fun easter basket filled with goodies, and an afternoon with family eating and watching the Masters. Over all, it was a great Easter!

Vegas
Rob and I took a trip to Vegas for his sales incentive trip. This was our first trip with out Reagan and leaving her over night. She did wonderful with all her Grandparents. We had a lot of fun just relaxing and catching up on sleep!
We stayed at the Bellagio, which I have to say is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. Everything was themed so cool. We enjoyed spa treatments which was such a treat!
Each night they had a themed dinner and this night was a formal one. It was so much fun to get dressed up together and have an adult night. Below is a shot of the best dessert ever - it was a chocolate mousse that was filled with creme brulee - oh my goodness!!
The next night was a rock n' roll evening. They had several areas where you could make videos, play guitar hero and get tatoos. As you can see we took advantage of the tatoo but not to worry they were only temporary.
The big surprise was the entertainment for the night. At&t rented out Rain night club and Maroon 5 performed just for our group! Not only did Rob earn this trip for his sales last year he was the top sales guys in his division! As a reward we got to go back stage before the concert to met the band. Really we just got to get our picture taken with them, there was no talking or socializing (I can't find the picture currently or else I would post that as well)

For Christmas we got a membership to the Children's Museum and have really been enjoying it. Ms R really enjoys the water and sand areas as well as the dinosaurs.

Hello are you there?
Rob asked me this week if we were totally done with blogging as it had been so long since our last post. And in my defense, I was sleeping the first few months of 2009! Yes, for those of you who may not be aware Baby Doll #2 is on the way! He or she (we will find out April 22nd) is set to make their debut on Sept 9th. Now I that I have waken up out of my first trimester sleepies and have gotten my house back in order the Doll House blog will be back up and running! More updates of our 2009 to follow....

Shelby memorial fund
In addition to the t-shirt sales, a memorial fund has been set up at all Forum Credit Unions. Here is the info on the two ways you can help them out....
Memorial Fund JEREMIAH PARKER SHELBY
Our Brookside church pastor, Aaron Shelby, and his wife Beth welcomed Jeremiah Parker Shelby January 4th then released him to be with Jesus approximately one hour later.....Due to the financial cost of a funeral, two different options have been set up for friends and family to contribute to the family....
1. Memorial Fund
* ALL Donations will go directly to the Shelby Family to cover funeral expenses. If the financial blessing outweighs the cost, the remaider of the proceeds will be forwarded to the trisomy 13 charity of the parents choice.
* Donations are being accepted at all FORUM CREDIT UNION branches. Just go into the branch and give them jeremy's name and tell them it is for a memorial fund....After the funeral services...all money will be released to the Shelby's so please make your contributions prior to that date. All donations will be anonymous.
Here is a link of all their locations... http://www.forumcu.com/locations/default.aspx
2. Fashionthropic T-Shirt in memory of Jeremiah has been designed and about Half of the total cost goes directly to the shelby's to help them cover expenses...This is a GREAT way to help out and have an item to remember him by.....
check out the link http://skreened.com/fashionthropic
Also you may check out their blog to be updated on any funeral arrangements...I am sure they will be posting them there... http://www.shelbyfamily09.blogspot.com

Shirt with a good cause
Some great people @ Fashionthropic have put together a "1 loved forever" shirt with proceeds going to the Jeremiah Parker Shelby memorial fund. The shirt reads: in 1 hour he loved perfectly and changed our lives forever / Jeremiah 29:11 passage / Jeremiah Parker Shelby. The shirts are made out of Ohio so there is plenty of time to order and wear to services should you see appropriate. Please feel free to pass this info onto anyone you think would be interested!
This weekend...
So this last weekend was a hard one for the Doll House. Our good friends the Shelby's welcomed a beautiful baby boy named Jeremy and got to enjoy him for a short hour before he went home to be with the Lord. We have been blessed to get to know the Shelby's through our church life group and are inspired by their faith daily. This group means the world to both Rob and I. Check out this post and you will get a feel for what our group is all about.
I am putting together meals for the Shelby family so if you are in the Indy area and want to help out email me k3miller@aol.com. Please pray for the Shelby family during this difficult time.
